The 2019 Honda Ridgeline Sport is a pickup built for drivers who want real truck capability with unmatched everyday comfort, reliability, and aggressive value. This is not a traditional body-on-frame truck that rides rough and burns fuel. The Ridgeline delivers a smart, refined approach to pickup ownership, combining proven Honda engineering with versatile utility that works just as hard during the week as it does on the weekend.
From the outside, the 2019 Ridgeline Sport presents a bold, muscular design that looks tough without being overdone. The wide front grille, strong hood lines, and squared-off fenders give it a confident stance on the road. Blacked-out trim, rugged alloy wheels, and a clean, modern profile set the Sport trim apart, giving this truck a purposeful, athletic look. Its a pickup that looks right at home in the driveway, at the job site, or heading out of town.
Under the hood, the Ridgeline Sport is powered by a dependable V6 engine that delivers strong acceleration, confident towing, and smooth power delivery. Paired with a refined automatic transmission, this powertrain provides excellent throttle response and relaxed highway cruising. Hondas engineering focus on balance and control means this truck drives more like an SUV than a traditional pickup, with a stable, composed ride and precise handling. Available all-wheel drive adds traction and confidence in rain, snow, or uneven terrain.
Inside, the 2019 Ridgeline Sport offers a spacious, comfortable cabin designed for real-world use. Supportive cloth seating, a power-adjustable drivers seat, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel create a driver-focused environment. The interior is quiet, well-built, and thoughtfully laid out, with quality materials and intuitive controls. Rear-seat passengers enjoy generous legroom and a flat floor, making this one of the most comfortable crew-cab trucks on the market.
Technology is practical and easy to use. The infotainment system includes a touchscreen display, Bluetooth connectivity, USB ports, and steering wheel-mounted controls for hands-free operation. A rearview camera and multiple driver-assist features make parking and maneuvering simple, while push-button start and keyless entry add everyday convenience.
Safety is a major strength of the Ridgeline. It includes stability control, traction control, anti-lock brakes, tire pressure monitoring, and a full airbag system. Hondas reputation for safety and long-term reliability is built into every mile, giving you confidence whether youre commuting or hauling gear.
Versatility is where the Ridgeline truly separates itself. The composite bed resists dents and rust, while the innovative in-bed trunk provides secure, weatherproof storage you wont find in any other pickup. The dual-action tailgate allows for easy loading, and the wide bed makes hauling bikes, tools, or weekend gear simple and efficient.
The 2019 Honda Ridgeline Sport delivers truck capability, refined comfort, proven reliability, and aggressive value in one smart package. If you want a pickup that works hard without sacrificing ride quality or everyday usability, this Ridgeline Sport is ready to move.

Excellent everyday driver for casual truck use
By bhkintx | on Thursday, March 04, 2021
I love this truck. Smooth ride, good performance, excellent versatility. Went from a F-150 and what a difference; easier to park, much more comfortable drive and more reliable. The tailgate and the bed trunk are very useful. Only downside is that the rear seat room very limited; not great for back seat passengers 6' or over. I prefer the looks of the Tacoma but this truck beats the Tacoma in every other category. If you don't work construction or need to tow more than 5000 lbs., this truck is worth a look.… - 5.0
It does everything well for a light-duty truck...

It is not much to look it. I have had it for 9 months now and I still don't like the looks of it. But when you drive this Ridgeline, you can't help but love it. I had a 2009 Ridgeline RT for nearly 12 years before this one. I didn't want another Ridgeline because of the looks, but I wanted a new truck before I retired. So I looked at/test drove Rangers and Tacomas and there were just too many things I would've had to given up on. The quality or style of every other truck was just not good enough to suit me. The Ridgeline's interior is hands-down the best part. Like most Americans, I drive my truck like a car 80% of the time. There are the weekends were I have to take my utility tractor to my property to mow, or take the boat to the lake, or just go get plants and trees for a new landscaping project. The Ridgeline does it all very well, keeps me in comfort and gets an average of 21-23 MPG around everyday county road driving. The Ridgeline Pulls a trailer like a dream. Most of the time you can forget it is even back there. Doesn't have the bouncy-jerking ride while pulling that nearly every other truck on the market does. My 2009 was a base RT. My 2019 is an RTL-E. So I went from a base truck to a loaded truck. Miss the looks of the old one, the CD Player in the old one, but with the mileage this new one gets, the smooth/comfortable ride and the smoking good deal I got on it, I feel like I made a great purchase! Don't judge a book by the cover. Test drive it, compare the features, buy it!… - 5.0
Could not have expected any more.

I bought this truck based on actual needs and reliability. From the first day I was impressed with the workmanship of this truck. The fit and finish was top notch. The ride was great. I averaged 26 mpg on my first road trip. And can have a heavy foot at times. I have had all the brand name trucks in my past. But I do not intend on going off road nor hauling over the 5000 pound limit. This truck fits my needs.…
