The 2021 GMC Yukon XL SLT is the full-size SUV built for buyers who refuse to compromise on space, power, or presence. This is not just another three-row SUV. The Yukon XL gives you extended length for maximum cargo capacity, bold styling that dominates the road, and premium comfort designed for families, executives, and anyone who needs serious capability. If you want full-size authority with aggressive value, this Yukon XL SLT is ready to deliver.
From the outside, the 2021 Yukon XL SLT commands attention. The bold GMC grille, signature C-shaped LED lighting, sculpted body lines, and chrome accents create a powerful, upscale appearance. The extended wheelbase not only increases cargo space but also enhances its strong, planted stance. Premium alloy wheels and refined detailing separate the SLT trim from base models, giving you a look that is both rugged and sophisticated.
Under the hood, the Yukon XL SLT is powered by a strong V8 engine paired with a smooth-shifting automatic transmission. This combination delivers confident acceleration, impressive towing capability, and effortless highway cruising. Whether you are hauling a trailer, loading up for a family road trip, or navigating city traffic, this SUV has the power and stability to handle it all. The advanced suspension system provides a surprisingly smooth ride for a vehicle of this size while maintaining control and confidence on the road.
Step inside and the SLT trim surrounds you with premium comfort. Leather-appointed seating, heated and ventilated front seats, heated second-row seats, and a spacious cabin layout make every drive enjoyable. The XLs extended length translates into exceptional third-row legroom and massive cargo capacity behind the third row. This is one of the most versatile SUVs on the market, offering true room for passengers and gear without compromise.
Technology is a major highlight of the 2021 Yukon XL SLT. A large touchscreen infotainment system integrates navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth connectivity, and a premium audio system. The digital driver display provides clear vehicle information, while wireless charging, multiple USB ports, and tri-zone automatic climate control ensure convenience for everyone onboard. Everything is designed to be intuitive, responsive, and easy to use.
Safety is built into every mile. Advanced driver-assist features include forward collision alert, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, front and rear parking sensors, traction control, stability control, anti-lock brakes, and a comprehensive airbag system. These systems work together to provide peace of mind whether you are driving across town or across the country.
When it comes to versatility, the Yukon XL stands alone. The power-folding second and third rows allow you to quickly configure the cabin for passengers or cargo. With the seats folded, the extended cargo area provides exceptional storage space for luggage, equipment, or large items that smaller SUVs simply cannot handle. Add in strong towing capability and you have an SUV built to do it all.
The 2021 GMC Yukon XL SLT delivers bold styling, V8 performance, advanced technology, premium comfort, and unmatched space in one aggressive package. If you need real capability, real luxury, and real presence on the road, this Yukon XL SLT is ready to exceed expectations.

Rattles
By Nancy | on Monday, October 19, 2020
Back glass in the lift gate rattles loudly, literally moving up and down. It has been in shop 4 times, they hear it and see it, but can't figure out how to fix it. Had to file a claim with GMC. Very disappointed. Most of trim on inside is cheap plastic and poorly assembled. The ride is as good as the previous model. Turns and handles like a car, not a truck.… - 5.0
Pricey but worth it
By Mark | on Saturday, January 28, 2023
Let’s be real here, all SUVs are pricey these days, even cheaper know cars like Kia’s. Then it gets more expensive with full-size SUVs, and desirable ones like the GM brand. My Yukon wasn’t cheap by any means, but I knew that going in. It is huge, comfortable, and has all the features that I could need and want. The gas mileage is just horrible, as expected, but I knew I wasn’t buying a Prius here. My biggest complaint is with GM, they nickel and dime you to death with ridiculous add-on subscription based services. Even the My GM app costs $15/month, absurd, and this service used to be free!… - 1.0
Display not working !
By Martin J | on Wednesday, July 16, 2025
I just bought a Yukon 2025 first days works great. After one week this nightmare started. Display not showing anything. We lost control of A/C in front side, not radio ,not gps . I took it to gmc dealer to get repaired. I just lost my time , they told me, they replaced the radio but the same issue happened , before I left the dealer. They say “We have to order a new radio or display. The one that we replaced its bad”.I have to wait until parts is received. Because it’s a special order!!! Display looks great , but honestly it’s a piece of garbage ! First payment of $70k is coming. 😒…
